Have you ever thought of a few words to define : yourself. Well I do , for when I create paintings, I page through all my images , pondering what to paint next. As I do this I realized that my interest lies in everything I paint. If I have to choose a few words to define : this , it would surely be the following.
- pomegranates, other fruits as well.
- vegetables, garlic, red onions
- vintage cups
- hands, they interests me.
- flowers, proteas, lilies, roses
- vintage kitchens ( pantry etc.)
- interior decorating ( antiques)
- portraits, as part of a painting
- And still life, for sure...
An interesting exercise, I wondered why I always end up painting these, for they are surely my interests, it 'define 'my paintings.
